The Pairs Head
The junior women notched up the first major win of the season when Lucy Lewington and Hannah Smith Willis won the Junior Women’s Trophy at The Pairs Head held on the Mortlake to Hammersmith stretch of the Tideway. The girls had a convincing win coping very well with the difficult conditions in the final stretch of this race where a strong head wind lifted the tidal stream into very choppy water.
