At Hampton Head last weekend the junior squad from the Club was out in force with thirty youngsters competing this was an opportunity for some of the less experienced youngsters across the age groups to compete and to make the hard winters training seem worth while. Hampton is a tough event being one of the major heads aiming specifically at Juniors and many of those looking for GB selection this year will compete at Hampton.

The only win of the day came from Drew Ford who won boys J16 single sculls in what was a very strong field. The girls notched up two second places, Natalie Robinson and Lucy Lewington in the women's Junior pairs and Jenny Arnold in Women's J15 single sculls. Jenny's time was very impressive and would have put her in the top five of the much older Women's Junior Scullers
